Backup & Disaster Recovery

Get back to work after ransomware, hardware failure or a hurricane.

Backups only matter if you can restore from them quickly. We design, run and regularly test backup and recovery systems for servers, laptops, cloud apps and Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace data.

Modern ransomware tries to delete backups before encrypting anything, so we keep immutable copies that cannot be altered, plus an offline or off-site copy. For South Florida businesses, we also plan for hurricane season: what runs from the cloud if the office loses power, how staff reach their work and who makes which call.

What's included

  • 3-2-1-1 backups: three copies, two media types, one off-site and one immutable
  • Backup of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace email, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams
  • Server and virtual machine backup with instant recovery
  • Cloud disaster recovery that can run critical systems in the cloud
  • Agreed recovery time and recovery point objectives for each system
  • Quarterly restore tests with written results
  • Hurricane and severe-weather business continuity plan
  • Ransomware recovery runbook

How we deliver it

  1. Define priorities

We agree which systems must return first and how much data loss is acceptable.

  2. Implement

Backup agents, immutable storage and cloud recovery targets are set up and verified.

  3. Test

We restore real files and systems on a schedule and record how long it took.

  4. Rehearse

A yearly walk-through tests the continuity plan with your team.

What you can expect

Recovery in hours

Critical systems restored quickly, not in days.

Ransomware resilience

Immutable copies attackers cannot delete.

Storm-season readiness

A written plan staff can follow when the office is closed.

Common questions

Doesn't Microsoft 365 already back up our data?

Microsoft keeps the service running, but its retention is limited and does not cover every deletion or ransomware scenario. A separate backup is strongly recommended.

How often do you test restores?

At least quarterly, plus after any major change. You receive a report each time.

What happens when a hurricane is forecast?

We follow your continuity plan: verify recent backups, confirm cloud failover, shut down on-site equipment safely and confirm staff can work remotely.
